Rare opportunity for a Paralegal, aspiring Lawyer or Lawyer looking for diverse, remote work whilst also balancing study or family commitments.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring Lawyer, Paralegal or Legal Assistant who is looking to change regular office work for a diverse role working alongside a busy Director where there will be plenty of variety.

You will assist the Director across four separate companies and get first hand exposure to the property and construction industry as well as retail trade and online start up. You will provide integral 1:1 support to the Director and assist with important tasks and decisions which will contribute to the continued growth of the business.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have:

• At least 2 years experience working in a law firm, construction firm or startup environment;
• Excellent verbal and communication skills;
• Ability to handle a number of tasks simultaneously;
• Capacity to take initiative and work autonomously but also be able to work as part of a team;
• Knowledge of processes and procedures and the ability to identify opportunities for improvement; 
• A Diploma of Business or Legal Services will be highly regarded by not essential, LLB or LLM will be highly regarded but is not essential if you have the relevant industry experience. 

Candidates with the ability to speak and confidently translate Japanese are strongly encouraged to apply.
