One of the most rewarding aspects of recruitment is being able to help and guide people with their careers and what they are most passionate about, even if it means they need to make some tough sacrifices for a moment in time & even if it means no longer practicing and pursuing something they are meant to do.

Yes, it is hard going that little deeper & searching for a position that will satisfy you daily.

Yes, it is hard letting go of what you have studied & practiced for so many years. And even harder telling others because we are so concerned with ‘what will others think”.

Yes, it does mean making sacrifices, maybe a few things but maybe many.

And yes, most of the time we don’t even know what we are searching for or whether it exists and it is just easier to go back doing what we did not enjoy doing in the first place.

But there is nothing more satisfying when you have found it & look back and think it was not so bad after all.

Early last week a friend who I met through recruitment reached out to say thank you for giving them that bit of guidance, because they now are doing something they love. Every. Single. Day.

There is nothing more rewarding then being able to help in that way and giving them the encouragement and confidence to make that change.

Keep Smiling.
