Don’t give up if you have been told that you have been unsuccessful. Persist with other positions.
Sometimes things happen that are beyond your control and that you are not aware of and you think “Oh I’ve been unsuccessful again” but the firm might have decided to withdraw the role or the firm might have decided to appoint an internal candidate to the role or they might have changed the brief altogether and decided to go with a much more senior candidate.
So sometimes you just need to appreciate that things happen behind the scenes that are beyond your control. So don’t get too disappointed if you’re told you’re unsuccessful with the position.
Persist and persist until you secure that position for yourself.
